Sean Strickland has named the condition of his fight with Jake Paul

Former UFC middleweight champion, Sean Strickland, has made an official request to the organization’s management to fight blogger Jake Paul, who challenged him to a one million dollar fee.

“Jake Paul offered me a million dollars to fight him knowing it was impossible for me,” Strickland said in a video posted to his social media accounts. “I actually talked to Hunter Campbell and told him, ‘Hunter, I’ll fight him. You let Conor McGregor fight Floyd Mayweather and it’s an easy fight, easy money – can I do it?’ and Hunter explained to me, ‘He doesn’t sell fights.’ When he has a fight, he gives out tickets, he doesn’t make money. His target audience is kids who don’t buy pay-per-views.'”

“So, it’s kind of depressing to me. I was counting on a big payday for a fight with this man, which looked pretty easy. But unfortunately, Jake Paul is only a star among kids. He’s going to have to get some adult attention, and then maybe we’ll have a fight. You know for a fact that I can’t fight you, we all know that. But what we can do is, you get on your fancy airplane, fly to Las Vegas, and you and I will cross paths. Because we all know what’s gonna happen. I’ll do it for free, I don’t need a check, and I don’t need a live broadcast. I’ll do it for free, sir.”

Last week, blogger Jake Paul, who has eight professional boxing victories to his credit, reacted negatively to a sparring match between Strickland and streamer Snicko, who decided to test his boxing skills and was beaten by the former UFC champion. Paul offered Strickland one million dollars in case of victory, but in case of defeat, the top UFC middleweight had to get a tattoo with the name of the youtuber’s bookmaker.
