A week ago, 28-year-old Sean O’Malley scored the most significant victory of his career, finishing Aljamain Sterling by second-round technical knockout in the main event of UFC 292 in Boston and taking the championship belt from him.
The American fighter plans his next fight on December 16 at UFC 296 in Las Vegas against Ecuadorian Marlon Vera, who handed him the only defeat of his career three years ago.
