New UFC flyweight champion Sean O’Malley, who took the championship belt from Aljamain Sterling this past weekend, responded to former UFC double champion Henry Cejudo, who challenged him the previous day.
“Henry Cejudo, if you want me to teach you how to defend against tekdowns in MMA, come on over!”, O’Malley wrote on social media.
The flyweight title fight headlining UFC 292 in Boston ended with Sean O’Malley winning by technical knockout in the second five-minute round, and three and a half months prior, Aljamain Sterling made a successful defense of his championship belt against Henry Cejudo, whom he won by split decision over five rounds.
The “Triple Crown Champion,” who resumed his career this year after a three-year hiatus, currently rounds out the top three of the UFC’s lightweight division.
