American lightweight Ryan Garcia (22-0, 18 KOs) is determined to enter the ring against compatriot, world champion in three categories and current WBA World title holder Gervonta “Tank” Davis (27-0, 25 KOs).

And if the Golden Boy company, which leads Ryan’s career, suddenly has other plans, then Garcia promises to take the reins of power into his own hands.

“Golden Boy can’t stop it. They won’t succeed. I won’t allow it. It’s not going to happen,” Garcia insists to Chris Mannix of
Sports Illustrated. “I will go to war fighting a Tank. I am ready to do whatever it takes because in the end this fight will earn me my respect and I think I deserve it. So I’m ready to take on this challenge.”

“I’m sure I’ll beat him. He is a great fighter, don’t think about it. But I’m much better, Ryan is sure. “And I want to show him, I want to show everyone what I can do. This fight just needs to be arranged. Everyone wants it, and now I’m ready.”

At the same time, Garcia added that the winner of his fight with Davis will become the “new face of boxing”, which will surpass Canelo Alvarez and everyone else.

Recall that on July 16, Ryan is scheduled to fight against the Dominican Javier Fortuna.

On the eve of Garcia also reacted to Haney’s victory over Cambosos.
