American lightweight Ryan Garcia (23-0, 19 KOs) also fears that his superfight against compatriot Gervonta Davis (28-0, 26 KOs), tentatively scheduled for April 15, may not be his fault.
Garcia is worried about Gervonta’s frequent visits to the police. The last of these happened quite recently and nearly derailed Davis’ fight against Hector Luis Garcia.
“It’s definitely worrying,” Garcia said in an interview.

Perhaps he has anger control issues, but in this situation, I will not indulge in reasoning, because I do not know what is going on in his personal life between him and his girlfriend. I don’t think it’s right to hit a girl. But I don’t know all the details, so I’d rather not talk about it.”
Davis himself is also not sure that he will end up fighting Ryan, admitting that he will simply get scared in the end. And De La Hoya foresees the disaster of Ryan Garcia: “It’s a big mistake.”
