Reigning Bellator heavyweight title holder Ryan Bader doesn’t have much faith in Francis Ngannou signing with his organization, but if it does, Dart is ready to split the octagon with the Predator, once and for all closing the issue of his legitimacy as a champion.
“When he signs the contract, we can discuss it,” Sportskeeda, 39, quoted the American as saying. “I mean, Tyson Fury is calling him now, and I assume that he will box. As soon as he signs with Bellator, we can cross that bridge. I don’t really believe in it, but if it happens, great. He is one of the best heavyweights in the world, and to beat him is to close the question of his legitimacy forever.
Last weekend, Ryan Bader successfully defended the Bellator championship belt, finishing with a technical knockout of Fedor Emelianenko in the middle of the first round.
Francis Ngannou last entered the octagon in January last year, successfully unifying the interim and current UFC heavyweight titles against Cyril Gan, and left the organization a year later as a free agent.
