The welterweight bout has been announced by informed sources close to the situation.
For the last two years, 39-year-old Muslim Salikhov has been alternating losses with wins, and this time he will try to get his career back on track after losing to Nicholas Dalby by unanimous decision.
In contrast, 33-year-old Randy Brown closed out an early loss to Jack Della Maddalena in his previous bout, winning by unanimous judges’ decision over Wellington Thurman.
As a reminder, the main event of UFC 296 will be a welterweight title fight between Leon Edwards and Colby Covington.
