At the moment, Alexander Volkov, Tai Tuivasa and Stipe Miocic remain in the top ten of the division without fights, occupying the seventh, sixth and third lines in the ranking, respectively.
At the same time, Tuivasa is going on a series of two defeats, Volkov, according to rumors, has already been assigned a duel, and Miocic, obviously, will not fight the Russian puncher.
Until recently, the first number of the division Cyril Gan was considered the most likely opponent of Pavlovich, however, the Frenchman was assigned a fight with Sergei Spivak, representing Moldova.
This situation indirectly confirms the rumors that Sergei Pavlovich will become the next opponent of the current division champion, Jon Jones, whom the matchmakers of the organization could not organize a fight with Stipe Miocic, scheduled for November.
In April of this year, 31-year-old Sergei Pavlovich won his sixth knockout victory in a row, in the fourth minute of the first round, having dealt with the American Curtis Blades.
