Two-time Olympic champion from Cuba, playing in the featherweight (up to 57.2 kg) Robeysi Ramirez (10-1, 6 KOs) is ready to fight for the world title right now and, in particular, to fight with the Mexican Emmanuel Navarrete (35-1 , 29 KOs), who owns the WBO belt.

It is worth noting that both Ramirez and Navarrete are in favor of the promotional company Top Rank.

“I will fight anyone. It all depends on my company, my team. I want to fight the best, and if he (Navarrete) is available, then of course I will fight him, ”the Cuban assured.

According to Robeisi, he wants to become the absolute champion at 57.2 kg, that is, to unify all four prestigious titles. And he does not plan to rise to 59 kg – for example, to once again fight with the American WBC / WBO champion Shakur Stevenson (18-0, 9 KOs), whom he defeated in the 2016 Olympics final – in the foreseeable future.

“I wish Shakur all the best, we have a great relationship with him,” said Ramirez. “I don’t see that our fight will take place. He is now in his category and I think he will continue to climb higher. I am very comfortable at 57.2 kg. This is my division. First I’ll clean it up, and then I’ll see what’s next. Definitely, my goal is to be the undisputed champion here.”

Recall that last weekend Robeisi knocked out the previously unbeaten Puerto Rican Abraham Nova. Here is the video of the knockout.
