Former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler has been injured and pulled out of UFC 282, which was scheduled to face Santiago Ponzinibbio.
At the moment, the matchmakers of the organization are trying to find a new opponent for the Argentine fighter.
40-year-old Robbie Lawler had his last fight in July of this year, losing by TKO in the second round to Brian Barberene. The previous year, the former UFC champion had returned to a successful career after four losses in a row, winning by TKO in the third round against Nick Diaz.
Recall that the UFC 282 tournament will be held on December 10 in Las Vegas, and its main event will be a fight for the vacant UFC light heavyweight title between Magomed Ankalaev and Jan Blachowicz.
