Former Bellator middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko will return to mixed martial arts in July at the SFC 8 tournament in Omsk, while the Russian will face Brazilian Alex “Cowboy” Oliveira, who was fired from the UFC last year.

Alexander Shlemenko had his last fight in December last year at the RCC 13 tournament in Yekaterinburg, losing by unanimous decision to Magomed Ismailov, and a week later Storm will face his former rival Yasubey Enomoto in a kickboxing duel. The Russian-Swiss confrontation will take place on April 21 in Moscow as part of the REN TV Fight Club Super Series.
After leaving the strongest league in the world on a series of four defeats, Alex Oliveira spent three fights in regional organizations, suffering one early defeat, and winning two fights by technical knockouts.
