Restless Sergio Martinez goes to the USA: a new fight at the weekend

Former unified middleweight champion Sergio “Maravilla” Martinez (55-3-2, 30 KOs), who has not settled down with his boxing career, is going to fight an eight-round fight on December 11 against a certain
Noah Kidda (6-6-2, 5 KOs) at a special boxing evening that opens the annual WBA convention.

Fightnews clarifies that the event from the Association will be held from 11 to 14 December in Orlando, Florida, USA.

The 47-year-old Argentine veteran has amassed a 4-0 record on jockeymen and middleweights since returning to the ring in 2020 and is currently ranked fourth in the WBA rankings. He spent all the comeback fights in Spain.

Martinez: One defeat and career is over

For a fight like this, the 27-year-old Kidd will move up from welterweight. The American has lost three of his last three fights. The American cannot shine with any special achievements, but in 2018 he held out against debutant Daniyar Yeleussinov for almost three full rounds.

If anything, Martinez is now boxing in the middle division and a little higher. At the beginning of 2022, he wanted to fight Golovkin.
