Rematch with White in the summer. Joshua insist on it, but do not rule out Wilder

British promoter Eddie Hearn insists that a rematch between Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) and Dillian Whyte (28-3, 19 KOs) at a stadium in Britain this summer is the coolest option for a first since his April 1 comeback.

“AJ wants a big fight in the summer, and the option that makes sense, it’s simple, is a rematch with Whyte,” the head of Matchroom Boxing repeated what he has said many times.

Meanwhile, instead of such a long-overripe return fight, Joshua is supposedly “open to meet Deontay Wilder.”

“We are open to fight Tyson Fury,” Hearn added. – In the summer we are open for any fight. But yes, in my opinion, given that AJ will fight in April and Dillian will probably fight around the same time, this will set them up for a big fight in the summer.”

Hearn’s 2023 plan for Joshua

“This does not mean that everything has already been decided. We still need to agree terms for both fighters, but that’s what I would like to do. However, there are only two bigger fights in the division than with White, Wilder and Fury. If they are available, I am 100% ready to consider them, but the key is April 1st. It’s the only thing on my mind right now,” Eddie Hearn said.

It’s also interesting what Hearn had to say about Anthony’s next opponent for the spring:[Новый] The coach will ultimately decide who is the best option to fight AJ to develop under him and prepare for White, Wilder, Fury and all these guys.”

The top US heavyweight prospect wants White too. Veteran right in great demand.

So what’s up with the Wilder-Joshua fight?
