Ramzan Kadyrov’s sons may second Khamzata Chimaeva at UFC 294

The sons of the leader of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, have traveled to Abu Dhabi to personally support Hamzat Chimaev in his bout against Kamaru Usman, and it’s possible that one of them will be secunding “Borza” for this fight.

About this in an interview Vadim Tikhomirov reported by Khamzat Chimaev’s brother, Artur Chimaev.

“Yesterday Akhmat, Eli and Adam came, we had a joint training session, Ramzan Akhmatovich called, supported,” Chimaev said. “Yes, they can be in the corner.”

The bout with Usman is officially a contender’s bout, and Chimaev has no doubts that his brother can defeat the Nigerian and then current UFC middleweight champion, Sean Strickland.

“Right now he has Usman and Sean Strickland ahead of him – I think they’re both very comfortable opponents for Hamzat.”

Recall that the fight between Hamzat Chimaev and Kamaru Usman will be the second most important event of the UFC 294 tournament, which will be held on October 21 in Abu Dhabi.
