Ramzan Kadyrov reacted to the victory of Albert Duraev in the UFC

The leader of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, commented on the victory of Russian fighter Albert Duraev, who turned to him after he defeated American Chidi Njokuani at UFC on ESPN 43 in San Antonio.

“This night we were pleased with the famous MMA fighter and dear brother Albert Duraev,” the head of Chechnya wrote on a social network. “In his fight at the UFC tournament in Texas (USA), he defeated American Chidi Njokuani. And although before the confrontation, many experts predicted victory for the owner of the octagon, Albert spent all three rounds without a chance for the opponent. As a result, he fairly won his next UFC fight.”

“I also liked Albert’s speech after the fight. Being a true son of his people, he addressed his compatriots in his native language directly from the octagon and congratulated them on the coming month of Ramadan. He was a little upset that he did not manage to knock out his opponent and, turning to me, expressed his regret about this. Albert, the most important thing for us is your victory. You had a spectacular fight even without a knockout, dominating the octagon from the start to the final gong. Well done!”

“I sincerely congratulate Albert Duraev on his victory! I wish you well-being, good luck and new beautiful victories in your career! I’m sure he’ll have a lot of them ahead of him.”

Recall that the middleweight fight between Albert Duraev and Chidi Njokuani went the whole distance, following the results of three rounds of which the judges gave the victory to the Russian by a separate decision.
