Former UFC champ suffers horrific injury
Former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman was injured in a duel with Uriah Hall at UFC 261 in Jacksonville.
At the 17th second, Weidman broke his leg after a low kick. The 36-year-old fighter has already undergone surgery, after which he showed an x-ray of his leg.
“X-ray before and after all this nightmare! Right now my biggest concern is avoiding infection where the broken bone pierced my calf muscle and skin as I leaned on my leg with all my weight,” Weidman wrote on Instagram.
