Paulo Costa called Khamzat Chimaev a cheat

Even after getting Robert Whittaker as his opponent, Paulo Costa doesn’t stop regretting the fight against Khamzat Chimaev.

“The Chechen cheater is still in hiding,” the Brazilian wrote on social media. “I’m going to fight Whittaker on Feb. 17 and also in April at UFC 300 while this bum is trying to build up some muscle for himself

The bout between Khamzat Chimayev and Robert Whittaker was scheduled to take place on October 21 at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi, however, the Brazilian withdrew from the bout due to a staph infection, giving way to Kamar Usman, who lost to the undefeated Chechen by majority judges’ scorecards after three rounds.

Borz is currently nursing the hand injured in the fight, and once he recovers, Chimaev could challenge the winner of the title match between Sean Strickland and Dricus Du Plessis, who will meet on January 20 in Toronto.

The fight between Paulo Costa and Robert Whittaker will be part of UFC 298, which takes place Feb. 17 in Anaheim.
