A tough confrontation between ex-world champion Joseph Parker (30-2, 21 KOs) and Joe Joyce (13-0, 12 KOs), scheduled for July 2, was disrupted due to the irresponsible behavior of the former. This was stated by the promoter of Joyce Frank Warren.

And then I heard the day before the fight was announced that Parker had signed with Sky.”
“I sent him a message: “Just told me that the fight is“ everything. ”But what about the fact that we shook hands? I received in response:“ Good morning, Frank, I’m sorry that the transaction took some time, but at the last minute I was offered a better deal,” — said Warren.

According to the promoter, Parker could have just approached him and told him about the situation with Sky’s proposal and they would have come up with something, or at least discussed it in a human way.
“None of this has been done. It looks like he never intended to fight,” says Warren. “But the mandatory challenger is Joyce, not Parker.”
Parker confirmed that he had defected to baboutmore money and better terms, but complained that Warren was allegedly “constantly changing the terms of the contract”, and assured that he still wanted to fight Joyce.
“I know they said that since we signed with another platform, we can’t get a fight. But, listen, this is ego. If Frank has no selfishness, I’m sure he will let Joyce go to Sky and fight me,” Joseph said.
