Paddy Pimblett and Renato Moicano have agreed to a bout

UFC lightweight division rising star, Paddy Pimblett, is ready to test himself in a fight against number thirteen ranked Renato Moicano, who defeated Drew Dober by unanimous decision this past weekend.

“I would love to see Drew Dober fight Paddy Pimblett,” Moicano wrote on social media after UFC Fight Night 235. “Let’s see how awesome this guy is.”

It didn’t take long for the Brit to respond.

“Why would I fight Dober when I can take you out with ease?” wrote Pimblett.

“Paddy has challenged me. I’m ready to fight you any day of the week,” the Brazilian replied. “This is your main event of the UFC 300 tournament, ladies and gentlemen. Moicano vs. Paddy.”

Paddy Pimblett is riding a five-fight win streak in the UFC, winning a unanimous decision over Tony Ferguson in his last fight. The British lightweight is not currently ranked among the top 15 fighters in the division.
