Swedish heavyweight Otto Wallin (23-1, 14 KOs), who gained notoriety for a fitting loss to Tyson Fury in 2018, will enter the ring on May 26 in Detroit (USA). At the same time, the desire of Vallin’s promoter, Dmitry Salita, remains unrealizable so far – Otto’s opponent in the 10-round fight will be far from being a representative of the division elite, but quite an ordinary American colleague Rydell Booker (26-5-1, 13 KOs).

“The preparations are going really well, I’ve done a lot of work in the last few months,” said Wallin. “I saw Booker against Franklin and I know that he is an experienced and skilled boxer. No underestimation, I need a win. I thank my promoter for keeping me active, for the first time I will have two fights in one year since 2019. I will try to please you with a good performance.”

This will be Otto’s second fight in 2022. In February, he defeated Polish traveller, Kamil Sokolowski, on points.

Note that Booker has not won since 2019 and cannot win in 4 fights in a row.
