Rixos Water World Aktau, Aktau, Kazakhstan. In the main event of the evening, the local WBO International middleweight title holder (up to 72.6 kg) Meyirim Nursultanov (17-0, 10 KOs) beautifully knocked out the Argentine guest
Sebastian Horacio Papeschi (18-4, 6 KOs).

Nursultanov traditionally slowly started the fight, gradually increasing pressure on the opponent. An unexpected denouement came at the very beginning of the 5th round: the guest bought into the trick of the favorite – running away, he ran into a right hook. Knockdown? No, knockout!

Nursultanov KO 5 (look at the video from about 3:58).

At the warm-up in the limit of the second featherweight (up to 59 kg), Kazakhstani Bekman Soylybaev (14-1, 5 KOs) beat the ex-champion from Mexico Thomas Rojas (52-21-1, 34 KOs), who turned into a journeyman, without any problems.

The Kazakhstani gave the opponent the center of the ring. He rushed with sweeping one-hit attacks, but at the same time only kneaded the air. Soilybaev countered with multi-hit combinations, he did not try to win ahead of schedule. And in vain …

Judges score: three times 100-90.

Soilybaev UD 10.

Also, unbeaten local light heavyweight avenues (up to 79.4 kg) came together at the warm-up in the face-to-face confrontation:
Bekzad Nurdauletov (5-0, 2 KOs) defeated
Mikhail Kokhanchik (4-1, 4 KOs), who boasts an amateur victory over the current “interim” WBO middleweight champion compatriot Zhanibek Alimkhanuly.

The fight went all the way. Kokhanchik tried to act aggressively, but functionally he was not ready to fight on equal terms with his opponent – he was much more accurate and efficient.

Nurdauletov UD 8.
