Nurmagomedov and Primus made weight for the Bellator 300 tournament

San Diego hosted the official weigh-in ceremony for the Bellator 300 tournament, the main event of which will be a lightweight title fight between Usman Nurmagomedov and Brent Primus.

The headliners of the event successfully made it through the procedure, recording 70.2 kg (154.8 lbs) each on the scale, however, the Russian had to use a screen to stay within the champion’s limit.

The only fighter to fail at the weigh-in was women’s flyweight title fighter Ilima-Lei McFarlane, who due to a 720g (1.6lb) weight cut will not receive the championship belt even if she defeats reigning champion Liz Carmouche.
