Nurmagomedov says 2021 was the best year of Makhachev’s career
Former UFC lightweight champion Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov summed up the results of 2021 for his compatriot Islam Makhachev.
“2021 was definitely the best year in Makhachev’s career,” Nurmagomedova wrote in a story on her Instagram page. “He is one of the top three fighters in the UFC this year. 2022, if the Almighty wishes, we will take it even more confidently.”
Recall that in 2021 Makhachev defeated Drew Dober, Thiago Moises and Dan Hooker.
