The legendary Roy Jones Jr. offers the unified heavyweight champion Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) to defend the titles with the winner of the confrontation between New Zealander Joseph Parker (30-2, 21 KOs) and Briton Joe Joyce (14-0, 13 KOs) , which will determine the strongest on September 24 in Manchester (Great Britain).

Jones does not hide the fact that he is just very
wants see the fight between the British – the current WBC champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) and the former WBA Super, IBF, WBO champion Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs): “It seemed that Usyk had two wins in a row over Joshua ended this fight. But he has an injury, until the end of the year he will not be able to determine the absolute world champion with Fury. Therefore, I think Joshua should take the fight with Fury before this chance is gone forever. This is the best option for Joshua and for boxing.”

Jones says he “would love to see Usyk fight the winner of Parker vs. Joyce. I think it’s very real. These are two great punchers. Stylistically, they will have a cool fight with Usyk.

Jones, however, did not think about what the winner of the fight Parker vs Joyce might be of interest to the Ukrainian. Just in case, Roy shared his opinion about Usyk’s potential fight with Fury: “In theory, they will get a decent fight. I think it will be “chess” boxing, as they are both very good in pure-boxing. But for fans, this is not the most exciting option in terms of spectacle.

Earlier, former WBC champion American Deontay Wilder suggested himself as an opponent to Usyk: “You know where to find me.” And Fury even answered the question, can Usyk beat Deontay?
