The American promotion is ready to conclude a contract with the former UFC champion
Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou is in talks with Bellator MMA, including a potential boxing match under the Showtime banner. Scott Coker, president of the American promotion Bellator, spoke about this.
“On the subject of signing Francis Ngannou to Bellator, we had a meeting this week that Steven Espinoza was present to discuss a showtime boxing match. Our company can offer him what he wants – a double deal in MMA and boxing. I think we’re perfect for each other. Negotiations are ongoing, so we’ll see what happens,” Ngannou said.
Recall that in January, Francis Ngannou left the UFC promotion and lost his heavyweight championship belt.
