Ngannou began negotiations with Fury, but Tyson’s fight with Usyk is not in danger

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou of Cameroon claims that he has already begun preliminary negotiations for a boxing match against the reigning WBC world champion Tyson Fury. At the same time, Fury’s upcoming megafight against Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk for the title of absolute heavyweight champion will definitely not suffer.

“I’ve already spoken to one of his (Fury’s) representatives,” Ngannou said in an interview.
TMZ Sports. – Now they are working on organizing a fight against Usyk in April, so until then he is busy. But for my part, I’m just trying to see if we can reach an agreement before this fight.”

“In these scenarios, I will have time to better prepare for a boxing match,” said Francis. – In general, I don’t have any time pressure, because I expect to fight (with Fury) in June-July, which is quite realistic. We will see. It is too early to draw any conclusions. But our goal is clear.”

Earlier, Ngannou responded to Fury’s challenge, and Tyson’s father said that it was Francis who was the most dangerous rival for his son.
