Moscow native heavyweight playing for England Delicious Ori predictably won the passing in Sheffield (England) Commonwealth Games. Even before the start of the tournament, the local media compared the fighter with his predecessor – the winner of the 2012 Olympics and two-time unified world champion in professionals Anthony Joshua.

In the final fight, he showed his character, snatching victory from a boxer from India
Sagara Ahlavata despite losing the opening round. Ori is remembered for his excellent technique, solid hand speed and delivered jab. According to observers, the boxer has good data for professional boxing.

But Ori is in no hurry to become a pro: “About my performance? Well, it’s not for nothing that they say that there is no limit to perfection. It’s no secret that I’ve always been inspired by Joshua’s example. So today I have only a small checkpoint on a big path. And now all my thoughts are about Paris (dreaming about winning the 2024 Olympics). I will represent Great Britain in the tournament. It’s just a fairy tale!”

Ori’s Tournament Path Commonwealth Games began with a confrontation with the winner of the 2022 World Cup
Nigel Paul from Trinidad and Tobago. In the semi-final, a native of Moscow won
Willu Mau’u from New Zealand. All three passed by decision of the judges.
