Nate Diaz responds to Conor McGregor about fighting at UFC 300

Popular American fighter Nate Diaz has made it clear that he is ready to complete a groundbreaking trilogy with Conor McGregor, who announced his return to the octagon at UFC 300 in Las Vegas.

Diaz commented on his former rival’s statement by posting a photo from their first fight on social media.

“Real war,” Diaz wrote in a comment.

Representatives of the organization have not yet commented in any way on another statement from the former UFC double champion about his return. UFC head Dana White said last week that McGregor will indeed return this year, but made it clear that the issue of the Irishman’s opponent and the date of the fight has not yet been finalized.

Conor McGregor was originally expected to face Michael Chandler, who he starred with on the last season of TUF, and the American is still holding out hope of sharing the octagon with the Irishman.

As for Nate Diaz, he is rumored to be in talks to return to the world’s strongest league, which he left at the end of the year before last as a free agent. Last August, the American made an unsuccessful professional boxing debut, losing a ten round unanimous decision to blogger Jake Paul.

As a reminder, the UFC 300 tournament will take place on April 13 in Las Vegas, and so far the anniversary event remains without a main event.
