Nate Diaz has named a date for his return to the UFC

Popular American fighter Nate Diaz plans to compete at UFC 306, which takes place on September 14 at the Sphere Arena in Las Vegas.

The former challenger for the UFC lightweight championship belt announced this on social network, publishing a photo of the arena.

“I’ll be fighting here! H**** UFC 300,” Diaz wrote.

The numbered event, which was officially announced by the organization’s leadership this past weekend, will take place on Mexican Independence Day and promises to be one of the biggest shows in the history of the world’s strongest league.

Nate Diaz, 38, retired from the UFC after an early victory over Tony Ferguson, whom he finished with a fourth-round guillotine choke in September 2022, and last August the American made an unsuccessful professional boxing debut, losing a ten-round unanimous decision to blogger Jake Paul.
