Popular American fighter Nate Diaz is convinced that former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov ended his career to avoid a rematch with Conor McGregor.
According to Diaz, he was convinced of this by watching a new documentary dedicated to Conor McGregor, which was recently released by the streaming platform Netflix.
“After watching the new documentary about McGregor, I can say with confidence that Khabib has evaded revenge,” the American wrote on the social network.
“Yes, Khabib is a coward,” he added.
At the same time, Diaz did not explain how the facts from McGregor’s life prove the cowardice of the undefeated Russian fighter.
Recall that Khabib Nurmagomedov announced his resignation after the unification fight with Justin Gaethje in October 2020, however, he did not immediately vacate the title, and there was talk of his rematch with Conor McGregor for another three months, until the Irishman lost by knockout to Dustin Poirier.
