Having won the confrontation with blogger Yevgeny Ershov, by the end of this year, the popular Russian heavyweight Alexander Emelianenko can have a rematch with weightlifter and powerlifter Mikhail Koklyaev.
“No later than the end of the year,” Khryunov is quoted by the press service of the REN TV Fight Club. “We are talking with Koklyaev. He is now busy with a big project, but I think it’s real. I think it’s ready to bomb”
Emelianenko, who came out to fight with Yershov not in the best physical shape, promised to put himself in order for the next fight.
“I did not live up to the expectations of those who did not believe in me. I will recover and train. I won’t bully anymore. I promised my wife,” said the heavyweight who defeated the blogger with a kimura in the second round.
Recall that the boxing match between Alexander Emelianenko and Mikhail Koklyaev took place in November 2019 at the VTB Arena in Moscow and ended with the defeat of the weightlifter by knockout in the first round.
