The first rival of the Russian Sharabutdin Magomedov in the UFC, presumably, will be the American Derek Brunson, who occupies the eighth line in the organization’s middleweight ranking.
The potential matchup, set to take place on October 21 at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi, was revealed by people close to the situation.

The undefeated 29-year-old Sharabutdin Magomedov fought four fights last year, two of them in the Russian organization RCC, scoring three early victories and one by unanimous decision.
