Nearly $3 million was awarded to participants in Gamebred Boxing 4, the main event of which was an eight-round boxing match between former WEC and UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis and former five-division world boxing champion Roy Jones Jr.
According to a payroll released by the Wisconsin State Athletic Commission, Pettis, who won by a majority vote, received $650,000, while Jones’s fee was $700,000.
Participants in the second most important fight, Vitor Belfort and Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, replenished their bank account with $400,000 and $200,000, respectively.
Former UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo, whose fight with Jeremy Stevens ended in a draw, earned $425,000, while his opponent got $200,000.
The fees of other participants in the event ranged from one to fifty thousand dollars, and the total amount of payments was 2,827,700 dollars.
