The legendary Russian heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko will enter the final fight in his career with minimal chances of winning.
Bookmakers have released starting odds shortly after the Bellator heavyweight title fight between Fedor Emelianenko and Ryan Bader was officially announced as the main event of Bellator 290, which takes place on February 4 in Inglewood, California, USA.
At the moment, the odds for the 39-year-old American to win is 1.25 (probability 80.00%), while the success of the 46-year-old Russian is estimated at 4 (probability 25.00%).
The heavyweight fight will become a revenge – in January 2019, The Last Emperor lost to Bader by technical knockout in the final of the Bellator heavyweight grand prix already at the 35th second. After that, Fedor Emelianenko scored two early victories, knocking out “Rumpage” Jackson and Timothy Johnson, and currently occupies the third line in the organization’s heavyweight ranking.
Ryan Bader has fought two fights this year, successfully unifying the titles against Valentin Moldavsky and defending the championship belt against Cheick Kongo, defeating both by unanimous decisions.
