A heavyweight unification bout between current ONE Championship titleholder Arzhan Bullar and interim divisional champion Anatoly Malykhin will be the main event of ONE Friday Fights 22 on June 23 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The new date of the title fight was officially announced by representatives of the Asian League.
Anatoly Malykhin, 35, won the interim ONE heavyweight title in February last year with a second-round knockout of Belarusian Kirill Grishchenko, and in December, the Russian finished by TKO in the first round of Dutchman Renier de Ridder to become the reigning ONE light heavyweight champion.
The 37-year-old Canadian of Indian origin, Arzhan Bullar, has not entered the cage since May 2021, when he finished off Brandon Vera ahead of schedule and took away the ONE heavyweight championship belt from the American.
Note that earlier Bullar had withdrawn from the scheduled fight against Malykhin several times, citing injuries.
