On May 12, the Bellator MMA League will host another European event in Paris, the main event of which will be a middleweight bout between former Bellator champion Gegard Mousasi and division number two Fabian Edwards.
In the co-main event, Bellator Lightweight Grand Prix contenders Sidney Outlaw and Mansour Barnawi will compete for a spot in the semi-finals. Both fights were officially announced by representatives of the American organization.
The day before, two quarter-finals of the Grand Prix were presented with the participation of Russians Usman Nurmagomedov and Alexander Shabliy, who will meet with Benson Henderson and Tofik Musaev, respectively, which means that the fourth participant in the semi-finals will be determined in the duel between AJ McKee and Patrick “Pitbull” Freire, whose the fight is likely to be announced soon.
Also announced were two bouts on the preliminary card of the French event, which will be the lightweight confrontation between Saul Rogers and Davey Gallon, as well as Thibaut Gowty and Kane Musa.
