A native of Dagestan, Muhammad Mokaev, who occupies the fourteenth line in the UFC flyweight division, announced his readiness to replace the injured Kai Kara-France and face Alex Perez at UFC 284 in Perth.
“Please UFC – I’m ready!” the 22-year-old fighter wrote on the social network, commenting on the news about the New Zealander’s injury.
Currently, Kai Cara-France and Alex Perez occupy the third and sixth lines in the ranking, respectively.
Representing the UK, Muhammad Mokaev is undefeated and has three UFC victories to his credit, in his last bout finishing with a lever arm in the third round of Malcolm Gordon.
Recall that the UFC 284 tournament will take place on February 12, and its main event will be the lightweight title superfight between Islam Makhachev and Alexander Volkanovski.
