Movsar Yevloyev responds to Dana White’s criticism of him

Russian welterweight Movsar Yevloev did not ignore the words of UFC chief Dana White, who called his fight against Britain’s Arnold Allen the least interesting fight of the UFC 297 tournament held last weekend in Toronto.

As a response to the criticism from the UFC chief, the Russian posted a quote from him on social media, as well as a photo of himself with his face covered in blood.

In the third round of the fight, which opened the main card of the event, Allen delivered four banned knee strikes to Yevloyev’s head, which resulted in a serious dissection, but he received only a verbal warning from the referee.

Despite the serious damage and the obvious violation of rules by his opponent, the Russian fighter after a minute and a half made it clear that he was ready to continue the fight, and brought it to the end, winning by unanimous decision with a score of 29-28 three times.

After the fight, the undefeated Movsar Yevloev said he wants to see the winner of the title fight between Alex Volkanovski and Elijah Topuria as his next opponent to headline UFC 298 in Anaheim on February 17.
