Movsar Yevloyev got an opponent from the top 5 of the UFC rankings

The UFC’s No. 9 ranked welterweight, Movsar Yevloyev, will face a top-five opponent in his next fight.

This was reported by informed sources close to the situation. The Russian is rumored to share the octagon with the fourth-ranked Brit Arnold Allen.

“There’s great news on the horizon, and I’ll share it soon,” Yevloyev wrote on social media, which can be seen as an indirect confirmation of this information.

Arnold Allen, 29, who was one step away from a title fight, suffered his first loss in the UFC in April, losing a five-round unanimous decision to Max Holloway. Prior to that, the Englishman had ten victories in the world’s strongest league, four of which came early.

Movsar Yevloev, 29, knows no defeats and is riding a seven-fight win streak in the UFC, winning a unanimous decision over Diego Lopez in his last fight.
