Armory, Minneapolis, USA. In the main event of the evening, the WBA World super middleweight champion (up to 76.2 kg) Cuban David Morrel (8-0, 7 KOs) beat the challenger from Kazakhstan Aidos Yerbosynuly (16-1, 11 KOs).
The young left-handed champion started the fight confidently. Combined, punched a lot on the body. His punches are accurate and very powerful. Yerbosynuly feels it even hiding behind the block.

In the 2nd round, Morrel managed to brag a little with the defense, and made a mark in the attack – he broke his opponent’s nose.

In the 5th round, the champion still played: he hid behind the block, allowed Yerbosynuly to work. He tried hard, but most of the blows missed the target or on the defense. For activity, this three-minute period can be given to a Kazakhstani.

The second half of the fight turned out to be a little more competitive. Morrel frankly underworked at times. Yerbosynuly still fell forward, but there was almost no strength left for attacks. In the 10th three-minute period, he was close to a knockdown, but resisted.
In the 12th round, Morrel dropped his opponent with a two. Yerbosynuly completely switched to survival mode, tied the opponent’s hands, and the referee was fined for this. 30 seconds before the final gong, the Cuban sent the challenger to canvas with a right hook. The referee stopped the fight.
