“Money solves problems.” Anderson will shine for real in 2023, says Arum

The head of the Top Rank promotional company, Bob Arum, has no doubts that his American heavyweight prospect Jared Anderson (13-0, 13 KOs) will make a real statement next year, including as one of the legitimate contenders for the champion titles.

“This is going to be a big year for Jared,” Arum said. “He has already gone from being a prospect to a contender, or very close to becoming a contender. I look at 2023 as the year when Jared becomes a real top contender for the world title. This guy is incredibly talented and I think next year he will shine for real.”

According to the functionary, already at this stage it is not easy for Anderson to find a worthy opponent. But he doesn’t see it as a big problem.

“Money always solves problems,” Bob says eloquently. “I think a lot of guys will check on Jared and we’ll see. At the moment, I am extremely pleased with his development and career, which, in my opinion, is progressing incredibly well.

In the past year, Anderson had two fights, in both cases he did not stay in the ring for two full rounds: Milyan Rovchanin was knocked out in August, and Jerry Forrest was knocked out in December. He already wants White, “slow” Joyce or Dubois.
