UFC Fight Night 180 Tournament Match
The next UFC tournament on Fight Island in Abu Dhabi awaits MMA fans this coming weekend. The UFC Fight Night 180 show promises to please the long-awaited fight in the featherweight division.
In one of the fights of the main card, a young and promising light heavyweight from Australia, Krut, will face the native of Lithuania Bukauskas.
Root has won three out of four fights in the UFC. He finished by submission of Paul Craig and Michal Olekseichuk and knocked out Sam Elvey. The only defeat in his career he suffered from Misha Tsirkunov by submission a year ago.
Bukauskas came to the UFC as the champion of the British promotion Cage Warriors. So far, he has one performance in the octagon – a victory by TKO after the first round over Andreas Mikhailidis in July.
Prediction for the fight
Root is extremely dangerous in the standing position with his heavy arms, but he is also good on the ground, especially in the top position.
Bukauskas is a drummer who works well from a distance. However, he has a barely noticeable advantage in growth over Krut, so he is unlikely to be able to restrain the Australian. The big problem of the Baltic Gladiator is poor protection against blows and an unreliable chin.
Root can destroy Bukauskas both standing and on the ground. The Lithuanian does not see the necessary qualities in order to win this fight.
Kroot wins by submission in the 1st round
