Mikhail Ragozin refused to challenge Magomed Ismailov

Russian Mikhail Ragozin in an interview after the victory over the Brazilian Viscardi Andrade speculated on the topic of a possible confrontation with Magomed Ismailov. The fighter made it clear that he would not challenge a compatriot to a fight.

“You know, during the last training camp in Makhachkala, we were in the gym where Maga Ismailov is training,” Ragozin told reporters. – We trained several times with his brother – Ramazan Ismailov. It would be unethical and ugly to say that I want to fight him. We were in their hall, they treated us wholeheartedly, helped, provided all the conditions in their hall. Therefore, I would not want to challenge him to a fight, to say that I would like to fight him. But this is a sport. From a sporting point of view, of course, this fight would be interesting to me. Moreover, Maga is a very famous and media fighter. In any case, this fight would have been good for me. But for now, I will not ask and wish for such a fight.”

Ragozin defeated Andrade by knockout in the first round in the main event of the RCC Intro 18 tournament, which took place on November 20 in Yekaterinburg. Now the Russian has 18 wins and 5 losses.
