Mike Tyson will train Francis Ngannou to fight Tyson Fury

Pro boxing legend Mike Tyson is ready to join Francis Ngannou’s training camp and help the former UFC heavyweight champion prepare for an in-ring showdown with one of the best boxers of our time, Tyson Fury.

“I think it would be nice to get some advice or work out with Mike Tyson,” The Predator told TMZ Sports. “I also think of someone like Lennox Lewis – that would be cool too. I like his boxing style – it’s very simple, but very sharp and effective. One-two two – a classic, but very good. I like it. So yes – we will definitely contact one of these guys.”

In an interview with ESPN, Mike Tyson said he was ready to participate in the preparation of the Cameroonian heavyweight.

“I’d love to do it – it’ll be cool,” Iron Mike said. “I definitely like it, yeah”

As for the outcome of the fight, Tyson is of the opinion that the puncher always has a chance.

“I think anything is possible – he has a very strong stroke,” said the 57-year-old American.

According to Ngannou, the XTreme Couture team, with which he won the UFC heavyweight championship belt, will remain the backbone of his training camp.

“I have a great team around me – I chose these people based on the energy we have on the team,” explained the former UFC champion. “For this reason, I will leave the same team around me. Although I understand that we need a third-party experience and some changes, because this is a new game for all of us”

“None of us have prepared for something like this in the past, so we will accept as much help as needed to strengthen our team. But the team remains the same”

Recall that a ten-round professional boxing match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou will take place on October 28 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, however, the WBC heavyweight championship belt, owned by the British, this time will not be at stake.
