Mike Tyson will fight blogger Jake Paul

Professional boxing legend, Mike Tyson, will return to the ring on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and Iron Mike’s opponent will be boxing blogger Jake Paul.

The match, which will be streamed live on Netflix, is being organized by the youtuber’s promotional company, MVP.

“This is the greatest fight of the 21st century, taking place in the largest NFL league stadium in the United States, and whether you’re Team Paul or Team Tyson, watching boxing your whole life or for the first time, you won’t want to miss this event,” Paul said in an official press release. “I’m going to be a world champion and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion in boxing and the most dangerous boxer of all time. It’s time for Iron Mike to go to bed.”

“I look forward to getting in the ring with Jake Paul,” stated Tyson. “He’s grown considerably as a boxer over the years, so it will be interesting to see what this kid’s will and ambition can do against the experience and skills of the greatest boxer of all time.”

Mike Tyson, 57, resumed his career in November 2020 after a fifteen-year hiatus, drawing an exhibition boxing match against 54-year-old Roy Jones Jr.

Jake Paul, 27, has nine victories in professional boxing, including wins over notable fighters such as Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz.
