Pro boxing legend Mike Tyson has shared his take on the upcoming lightweight bout between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia, which will likely result in one of the boxers dropping zero.
“I’m leaning towards Davis winning with his style,” Iron Mike said in an interview with ESPN. “He is different from most fighters and does what I used to do, like catapulting himself into the air when he throws punches. Yes, he will win this fight.”
Tyson gives credit to Garcia’s left hook, but believes that this blow will not be a decisive factor in the fight.
“I saw Ryan Garcia’s left hook, it’s very powerful. It’s a knockout punch, but I think Gervonta Davis can take the punch – he’s a really tough guy. I could be wrong, but I think Garcia will be knocked out in five rounds.”
Recall that the boxing match between Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis will take place on the night of Saturday to Sunday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
