Mike Tyson gave his prediction for the fight between Fury and Usik

Professional boxing legend Mike Tyson, who trained Francis Ngannou for the fight against Tyson Fury, believes that the British boxer will be able to defeat Ukrainian Oleksandr Usik in the upcoming match for the title of absolute world champion in the heavyweight division.

“We shouldn’t put any importance on Tyson’s last performance – you have to realize he’s still the champion,” “Iron Mike” told Fight Hub TV. “That night was a credit to him. He gave Francis an opportunity and it was just a bad day at the office for him. Everybody has bad days, and he had just such a day.”

“I’m looking forward to his fight with Usik. It’s going to be an interesting matchup and I’m betting on Tyson Fury because he is vastly superior to his opponent in power. I consider him the best boxer in the world, especially in the heavyweight division. Even great fighters lose, sometimes they look bad, but they don’t stop being great fighters because of that”

The unification bout, in which Alexander Usik will put the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO titles on the line, and Tyson Fury the WBC championship belt, will take place on February 17 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

The world heavyweight boxing title fight was originally scheduled for December 23, but after “The Gypsy King” barely won a split decision against the former UFC champion on October 28, knocking him down in the process, the British team said they needed more time to recover and prepare for the fight with the Ukrainian.
