Bellator welterweight number two, Michael Page, who made an unsuccessful foray into fistfights, will return to mixed martial arts on March 10 at Bellator 292 in San Jose, and the Brit’s rival will be Japanese Goichi Yamauchi, who occupies fifth place in the division.
The fight was officially announced by representatives of the organization.
35-year-old Michael Page in May last year failed to win the interim Bellator title in a confrontation with Logan Storley, losing to the American by a split decision after five rounds, and three months later, in a bare-knuckle fight, Venom lost by a majority of the judges’ votes to former UFC fighter Mike Perry.
30-year-old Goichi Yamauchi is on a three stoppage streak, knocking out Neiman Gracie in his last fight.
