The welterweight bout between Michael Chiesa and Lee Jinliang has been added to the card of the UFC 287 tournament, which will take place on April 8.
An American fighter announced the organization of the fight in the next edition of the UFC Live program.
Michael Chiesa, 35, will be looking to get his career back on track after two straight losses, losing via submission to Vicente Luca and unanimous decision to Sean Brady.
34-year-old Li Jinliang has been steadily alternating defeats with victories for the past four years, and this time he returns to the octagon after an unsuccessful performance, losing a split decision to Daniel Rodriguez. Prior to that, the Chinese finished with a technical knockout of Muslim Salikhov, thereby closing the early defeat from Khamzat Chimaev.
Michael Chiesa and Lee Jinliang are currently ranked twelfth and fifteenth in the UFC welterweight division, respectively.
