Michael Chandler: I'll beat McGregor before the end of the second round

After spending two weeks with Conor McGregor filming the thirty-first season of The Ultimate Fighter, Michael Chandler is even more convinced that he won’t need more than two rounds to beat the Irishman.

“I have seen enough of Conor over the past two weeks to understand that I will not just tear him, but beat him with these very hands,” the American said, talking to reporters in Las Vegas. “I will do whatever I want, both on the stand and on the ground, and finish him before the end of the second round. This is my Mystic Poppy-style prediction, and I have no doubt about it.

When asked when the coaching fight would take place, Chandler said the date was dependent on how soon McGregor returned to the USADA testing pool.

“Just today I asked my management to start applying pressure and clarify this issue. If we want to fight in September, McGregor should be in the testing pool. This is a simple fact that is crucial. So we’ll see how it goes.”
